About So Cold
Born and raised in north Omaha and had many aspirations of becoming a robotic engineer, scientist, architect, and artist. Went to Central High but graduated high school from Bryan High. Joined the Army a year after graduating from high school to avoid the high risks of being a black male in North Omaha and also to seek better opportunities. His job in the Army was Satellite Communications and he was an airborne paratrooper with 7th Special Forces Group. Shortly after enlisting he was deployed to Afghanistan for 1 year.
After returning home he began boxing and quickly excelled as a top amateur. His skills qualified him to be part of the Army WCAP (World Class Athlete Program) boxing team and a member of the 2012 Olympic team. After retiring from military in December of 2015 he started his professional career in March of 2016.
Now Steven boasts a record of 19-0 (15 KOs) and holds the NABA super middleweight title (North American Boxing Association), former NABO champion. Throughout life Steven picked up many skills such as barbering, being a mechanic, playing the drums, carpentry, painting portraits, tattooing, making custom boxing uniforms, and stand up comedy. In the recent years he started training towards receiving a private pilots license after graduating college in 2020 with a degree in business entrepreneurship. Simultaneously, while working hard to become a world boxing champion Steven now serves the community by being the executive director of B&B Sports Academy where his goal is to inspire and teach the kids all the life skills he posses to strengthen the generations behind him.
